The Progressive Alliance of Ghana (PAG) is a civic movement dedicated to promoting participatory democracy, accountability, and inclusive development.
Established to bridge the gap between citizens and governance, PAG empowers individuals and communities to take part in civic and political decision-making. Through grassroots dialogues, advocacy campaigns, and youth leadership initiatives, we champion transparency and citizen-led development across Ghana.

The Progressive Alliance of Ghana (PAG) was born from a deep conviction that Ghana’s democracy must evolve beyond paper declarations into meaningful participation for all. Inspired by the principles of Kwame Nkrumah’s Pan-Africanism and social justice, PAG stands as an alliance of progressive Ghanaians—both at home and abroad—who are united against corruption and economic exclusion.
We envision a Ghana that grows, processes, and manufactures for itself and the world; a nation where the economy serves the broad masses rather than a privileged few. PAG’s founding philosophy is anchored in self-reliance, accountability, and inclusive economic development through a co-operatively centered system that empowers ordinary citizens.
Our call is clear: Forward Together — to restore hope, integrity, and national pride through civic action, innovation, and transparent governance.
