{"id":435,"date":"2025-11-01T12:40:22","date_gmt":"2025-11-01T12:40:22","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/joinpag.org\/?p=435"},"modified":"2025-11-01T12:42:10","modified_gmt":"2025-11-01T12:42:10","slug":"eastern-region-civic-leadership-meetup","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/joinpag.org\/es\/eastern-region-civic-leadership-meetup\/","title":{"rendered":"Eastern Region Civic Leadership Meetup"},"content":{"rendered":"<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The <strong>Progressive Alliance for Ghana (PAG)<\/strong> hosted a successful <strong>Civic Leadership Meetup<\/strong> in <strong>Koforidua<\/strong>, Eastern Region, bringing together over 150 youth leaders, civil society actors, assembly members, and traditional authorities.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Held on <strong>July 20, 2025<\/strong>, the event focused on:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Building capacity in <strong>participatory governance<\/strong><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Encouraging <strong>youth representation in district assemblies<\/strong><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Deepening collaboration between citizens and local government<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Attendees took part in:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Panel discussions on <strong>inclusive leadership and community development<\/strong><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Strategy workshops on <strong>policy monitoring and civic responsibility<\/strong><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>A breakout session on <strong>youth manifestos and advocacy planning<\/strong><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<blockquote class=\"wp-block-quote is-layout-flow wp-block-quote-is-layout-flow\">\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">\u201cWe are raising a new generation of civic leaders who understand power, accountability, and service,\u201d said PAG\u2019s Eastern Regional Coordinator during the opening address.<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The event was part of PAG\u2019s <strong>National Civic Dialogues Series<\/strong> and received media coverage from local radio and community bulletins.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Future meetups are planned for Ashanti, Upper West, and Central regions.<\/p>","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>The Progressive Alliance for Ghana (PAG) hosted a successful Civic Leadership Meetup in Koforidua, Eastern Region, bringing together over 150 youth leaders, civil society actors, assembly members, and traditional authorities.
